2020 was a challenging year...

but you already knew that. It was challenging for so many people, for all sorts of reasons, but couples trying to plan weddings in 2020 had a lot of added stress on top of everything else that was going on. Changing dates, changing dates again, shrinking guest lists, and most of all ...improvising. I ended up doing several downsized weddings this year, including one where I was one of only four people in attendance. They were some of the most intimate and moving events that I've witnessed and I felt lucky to play a small part. It seemed to me that people we're feeling very thankful - thankful for their close friends, their families and most of all the person they were marrying. Also thankful for fancy masks, good weather, and solid wireless internet connections during the ceremony for all the folks watching online.

I'm grateful for many things as well. Grateful that all of my clients that were able to move their dates into my 2021 calendar (without any conflicts - phew!) and grateful for my new studio (check out my Instagram feed for pics.)

Stay safe and see you in the new year!
